So today Avery is officially 3 years, 9 months, and 9 days old. As we were getting ready for church today, I realized I had never french braided by own daughter's hair. Imagine all the cute little girls at church with braided hair...and my daugher has never been one of them. I decided this trend must not continue and I did what all the other good moms do...braided her hair. I must admit it turned out amazingly well, especially considering I haven't braided hair since girls camp. Too bad she wouldn't turn her head the right way for the picture...you get the idea though.

Good for you. Megan's even older and never had a braid. I'm lucky to get some barrettes in there to keep it a little off her face. She just doesn't like that stuff! Sounds like you had a fun trip! It was fun to see you in UT!
Braiding a child's hair can be like trying to braid a cat. Congratulations. It looks fantastic.
