For those who wanted the mint recipe:
Pastel Butter Mints
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 c melted butter (cooled)
2-3 T. cold water
1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
(few drops of food coloring, your choice)
Combine sugar, butter, water and extract in large bowl. Knead until smooth. Add color and knead until color is even. Roll into small round patties. Coat in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and gently smash with a fork. (You can also get cute little shape molds instead). Let stand room temperature for 2-4 hours. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one month.
