Dance Dance Dance

Avery's Christmas dance recital was on Dec 4. She was absolutely adorable! I was kind of getting burned out with the whole dance thing until we went to her recital. I was so impressed! I can't believe how much better her class was compared to the spring recital. Her first dance was to "Earth and Sky" and I think it was the cutest dance I have ever seen. The second part of the recital was a program of "The Grinch." Avery was a reindeer dog. So cute.

Santa came after the recital. I loved that we not only had the dance recital, but that the kids got to see Santa -- and now we don't have to go wait in long lines somewhere else! We were shocked that Aidan sat on his lap. He is rather cautious of things like that, but he sat right up there and patted Santa's hand. Avery made it very clear to Santa that all she wants for Christmas is the American Girl doll Ruthie.

After the recital, we went with some of our friends to Dairy Queen. If you haven't had their peppermint blizzard, you MUST go. Ask for them to add brownies and it is so good--wish I had one right now! We had a great night.
