Lucy Jane Smith

Lucy Jane Smith was born May 21st at 3:25pm. She was 6lbs 13 oz and was 18.5 inches long. We arrived at the hospital at 8 am. I spent the first few hours getting the penicillin IV. At 1:45, the doctor broke my water. At 3pm, I told Mikey he needed to get the nurse to come and check me. The nurse came and immediately ran out yelling, "We have to get Dr. Macy here, we are having a baby!!!!" Luckily, Dr. Macy came quickly and after a few pushes, little Lucy was born. So far she eats, poops, and sleeps well...we will let you know in a few weeks if she keeps up the good habits.

Lucy is beautiful. I can see why Whitney sneaked in and just held her.
We love your family so much

Natalie-Congratlations on Lucy Jane! I haven't checked your blog in awhile and BAM....you sale your house, you move, you have a baby, you have a birthday, Mikey decides to change jobs. What else can you pack into one month? I'm sure all of that was super fun being super pregnant and super hormonal. You are such a trooper! Good luck with everything!

Congrats again!! Lucy is adorable! I hope you are able to somehow take it easy after a crazy month!!!! I'm not sure taking it easy is possible with 2 kids and a newborn. Congrats on surviving the craziness!
