Blue Ridge Mountains

On Monday, we headed up with Grandma Raine and Grandpa Stanley to the mountains for some fun and to escape the heat wave. We first went to picnic in a cute little park in Avery County, NC. Grandpa and Aidan had fun on the playground...Grandpa was excited since he hasn't had a playground buddy since we were kids. Avery and Mikey had fun on the swings. I applied the sunscreen and took pictures while Grandma cleaned up lunch. We then went wading in the little mountain stream.




After our picnic, we drove to Linville Falls where we hiked to see waterfalls. The kids (especially Aidan) were awesome little hikers. Isn't North Carolina beautiful?
