Neighborhood 5K

Every September, the student stake hosts a neighborhood run/walk. This was my second year participating. At the last minute, Avery decided she wanted to walk the race and begged me not to run. After a little arm-twisting, I agreed. Avery walked her first 5K the previous September in Boise (see pictures below) and she had an awesome time. There were lots of cousins her age to pass the time with and she had the best time ever. Apparently, I did not provide entertainment up to par, and she had a much less enjoyable time. There were only two other walkers besides us. By the time we got to the water station, it was no longer there. She was so worried that the bagels would be gone by the time we finished. Luckily we snagged the very last one. Good news is that we finished. Bad news is she was one unhappy camper.
