Let the partying continue...Aidan turned 5 on October 26. He wanted banana bread muffins for breakfast and was so excited to open his presents. As soon as he finished opening them, he ran around the house screaming, "This is the best birthday EVER!!!" He got to go on a field trip at school to the orchard at This is the Place park. It was windy, a little rainy, and freezing and those kids were outside for an entire three hours. When I picked him up, he was so popsicle-ish that he took about an hour to thaw. We picked up some Halloween cupcakes at a bakery and went home to get ready for soccer. Poor Mikey had caught a bit of the stomach flu from me which I got from Avery, so he stayed home from the games. After soccer, I must have been feeling extra crazy because it was almost 8pm and I took the kids to Red Robin for dinner. Aidan was so tired that I don't think he ate even a bite and was falling asleep at the table. When we walked out of the restaurant, it was snowing really hard --first snow of the year. Aidan got super excited and told us that Heavenly Father was sending him snow as his birthday present. He is seriously the coolest kid and always keeps us on our toes. We are so glad he has been with us for 5 whole years now!

I love how crazy he is. I can picture the screaming about it being the "best birthday EVER!" It's like Aidan's emotional overload from all the excitement.
