Avery's Birthday

Avery turned 7 (can you believe she is that old?!?) on October 20. For breakfast she wanted 7 pancakes. She got to open all of her presents before school which she loved because she got to tell all of her friends what she got. Aidan even made a card for her - if you know Aidan, then you know this is a REALLY big deal. Avery put the card up on her new bulletin board that she got for her birthday. It was a good thing that we celebrated in the morning, because poor Avery came down with the stomach flu that night and didn't even get to enjoy her birthday brownie sundae. I am so glad Avery is growing up to be such a good kid -- she is the best helper. I have been so grateful to her since Mikey went back to school not only because she helps me so much, but because she is great conversation. With him gone many days from before 7am until after 11pm, it really helps that she is grown up enough to have real conversations with me -- keeps me from getting lonely. I love that girl!
