Mikey's Birthday

Mikey's birthday was October 17th. Since his birthday was on a Sunday, we decided to combine everyone's birthday dinners and go to Benihanas on Saturday night. Emily and Becky came with us. The food was delicious and the kids definitely liked the cooking tricks. Lucy even ate salad by the handful -- she is my first child to eat lettuce. Mikey got to go shopping with his mom earlier that day for new T-shirts and sunglasses. On Sunday, he got his favorite new toy - his iPad and his awesome wife made his requested dinner: roast and vegetables, homemade bread sticks, and apple crisp. We also got to drive up Emigration Canyon and see all the changing leaves. We were glad Emily and Becky were able to spend Sunday with us hanging out.
