Here is how a season of soccer typically goes:
Game 1: We are all super excited. We bring the camera, takes pictures, cheer extra loudly, and the kids run extra fast.
Game 2: Still excited. Soccer season is fun.
Game 3: Hmm. Trying to get Lucy to not run away or onto the soccer field for two consecutive games is tiring and gets old fast. How many weeks do we have left?
Game 4: Aidan decides he doesn't want to run after the ball anymore. Instead, he constantly asks the coach if he can "take a break".
Game 5 and 6: Must endure to the end...
Game 7: Whew. We made it and the kids actually got trophies that have a spinning soccer ball that lights up -- not even kidding.

They really have trophies like that? What the what? I guess things do have to get more high tech now since it's 2010. They can't just have trophies that are stationary. Boring!
I want one of those trophies.
