DISNEYLAND!!!

Friday was Disney day 1. It was sunny and hot and Lucy agreed to wear a hat for the first time in her life.

Everyone loves the tea cups. Lucy is still telling us, "I luff tea cups, Mom."

Avery liked that she got to practice driving skills on so many rides. Earlier this year, she started counting down until she becomes a teenager and until she can drive. Good thing we still have a while!

This was a very serious moment for Aidan. He has been dreaming of meeting Mickey Mouse for his entire life. I wish I had a picture of Aidan gazing at Mickey after this picture was taken. It was my favorite moment of the trip - the look of childhood dreams coming true.

We had to play switch-off on a handful of rides. This is the kids getting tired of waiting as Mikey took his turn riding Indiana Jones.

Does a long day at Disneyland give Mom crazy eyes? I think so. It was a long long wait to ride that Nemo ride...
