The other day we stumbled upon another SLC jewel. Apparently, a man in the 1950's created a sculpture garden in his backyard to create a physical form of his beliefs in his spiritual quest. After the man's death, the garden fell into disrepair and suffered vandalism. In the late 1990's, a foundation was created to repair and preserve the gardens and is now a SLC park. Who new? The garden was fascinating with 12 sculptures and over 70 engraved stones. When we visited, many of the stones were covered by snow. I can't wait to return in the spring. USU volunteers landscape the garden and it is supposed to be just beautiful.
