Snow Day

Saturday, January 7th, we actually woke up to some snow. Mikey was working most the day, but with the dry winter we have had, we couldn't miss the opportunity to go sledding. The kids and I bundled up and headed over to the bowl to sled. The best part was loading all 4 of us on one sled and heading down the hill. The kids took turns taking Lucy down and thought they were so cool.

When Mikey got home, we walked up City Creek Canyon and had a big snow ball fight. I wish I had taken pictures, but it was just such a fun day with the kids that I wanted to at least document it. As a mom, there are lots of good days, lots of hard days, and a few handfuls of just really great days. This snow day was one of those great days.
